As an internet-based, Maori-owned research centre connecting Maori Development research capacity and Maori enterprise, the Maori Development Research Centre (MDRC) is unique in its field.
We aim to foster a Maori Development research community and build research capacity. Our membership grows weekly and is made up of Maori-owned companies, Maori organisations, freelance researchers and consultants, scholars, and students. They are located throughout the country and are specialists in a range of areas, such as education, health & disability, information technology, treaty issues, history, language & culture, to name just a few.
Register yourself, your company or organisation with us to be part of our community and receive opportunities to collaborate with other members on research and consultancy contracts. Our clients are local and central government, iwi and community organisations.
Our Network Teams are perfect for national jobs, for pulling together taurahere around the country to do work for their iwi, or for members in a particular region to do regional projects.
