Maori Land Research Resources
Maori Landonline is an initiative that allows you to access information on Maori land via the internet. You can identify owners’ names, block details, trusts, reserves, incorporations etc – without going to the Maori Land Court offices. The Maori Freehold Land Registration Project will, over the next four years, bring all Maori freehold land under the equivalent of a certificate of title and it will be incorporated into LINZ’s Landonline system. This will simplify access to current information about Maori freehold land and clearly identify all Maori freehold land in New Zealand. Both initiatives are run by the Maori Land Court.
