Kore Para
Kore Para is a nation-wide project to help develop sustainable Maori Kaitiaki (guardianship) of New Zealand’s natural resources. KPA currently has offices in Palmerston North, Hamilton and Kaikohe and is supported by a large number of individuals concerned with the enhancement of New Zealand’s natural environment.
Maori Land Development Trust
The Maori Land Development Trust was set up to support, encourage, improve and promote the sustainable development of Maori land in the Eastern Bay of Plenty region and to advocate outcomes on behalf of Maori landowners. The Trust produced the Maori Land Use National Resource Kit, Te Kete Matauranga Whenua.
Maori Land Information Base, Te Puni Kokiri
The Maori Land Information Base (MLIB) is used to locate individual Maori land blocks on a computer-generated map. It contains Maori Land Court information about Maori freehold land, which the Maori Land Court in consultation with Maori has approved for release on the Internet.

Te Ohu Kaimoana
Holds fishing assets on behalf of iwi and Maori. The Treaty of Waitangi Fisheries Commission is in the process of being disestablished and its assets divided between two companies: Te Ohu Kaimoana will hold half the value of the assets until they are transferred to iwi; and Aotearoa Fisheries Ltd will hold the remaining half.
